What is this, a blog?! I hate journals. Ignore all my previous entries, I think I was getting a little sucked in by it all (no offense DeviantArt, I love you really).
If you are taking the time to read this, wow you're giving me more credit than I deserve. But if you're interested, I'll be uploading new fanart pieces I've been working on recently. I know I haven't even touched my account for well over a year or so, purely because I've been working and devoting my time more to music than art for a hobby.

Not that I'm expecting anyone to be jumping up and down with joy here, but I'm back to work on my PhoenixXMaya story and that includes fresh accompanying artwork.
I've taken a good, hard look at my previous 5-6 chapters and realised how sloppy the prose was. More often than I'd like to admit, the tense seemed to flicker been past and present because of some phrase I wanted to include didnt fit the writing style. This and a lot more is gradually being remedied... well actually, I'm totally re-writing it from scratch, but this time with a lot more planning and structure.

Illustrator CS3, your opinions?

Ok all you Deviant Artists who are familiar with the latest offerings from Adobe, I'm after some advice. What is Adobe Illustrator CS3 like in comparison to the CS2 version? I ask because I've had CS2 for a while and to be frank, there are some really frustrating elements about it.
Things such as gradients are downright annoying to tweak thanks to the fact I'm forced to use the tiny little colour chart at the top instead of being able to use swatches or the regular colour selection window to modify the different colours of the gradient.
